WHO WE ARE

Democratizing power by uniting the economic majority.

The Working Majority exists to unite Americans around a common vision for the economy — one rooted in shared values and economic interests. We are a broad, powerful, and united majority committed to growing the middle class, shrinking the wealth divide, and building trust in our nation's future.

Community

We're building a home - online and in person - where people can connect, have fun, and build something important together.

Decide

You don't just join the Working Majority - you run it. Members decide what we'll work on and what solutions we will fight for in Madison and Washington, D.C.

Change

When we know what we want, we go get it - using our power to push for an economy that works for the majority, and not just the few.

Our Values

A bigger middle class.

We are committed to an economy that prioritizes rebuilding a strong and growing middle class.

Trust is fundamental.

Trust is critical to our success. That's why the Working Majority will always prioritize transparency and work that is member-led.

You belong here.

If you think the economy isn't working for ordinary people anymore and we need big change, then you belong to the Working Majority.

Respect for all.

Our strength comes from relationships that  unite people across class, geography, race, politics, and other divides. We will not always agree, but we will always respect and value each other.

You have the power.

Members run the show here - you decide the biggest problems facing Wisconsin and what we will fight for.

This is supposed to be fun.

We are a community first, so expect brats, beer, and good company before getting down to any business.

About our founder

PETE SUBKOVIAK

Pete has spent his life challenging powerful interests on behalf of ordinary people. During his time in the Biden Administration, he saw how Washington leaders were completely disconnected from the rest of the country. He left convinced that change will only come from lower income, working class, and middle class people uniting to form their own power base. That conviction is what led to the Working Majority.

Pete was born and raised in Dane County, where his family still lives. He splits his time between Chicago and Wisconsin.
